Come celebrate the most magical weekend of the year. When the veil between the physical and metaphysical- the living and the dead - is at its thinnest. Culturally celebrated around the world and known by many names: Samhain, Dia de Los Muertos, Halloween, and All Hallows Eve. We have designed an extra special Soulful Slumber Party for those who dare to tap into the other side.

Together, we’ll draw down the energy of the cosmos, to reconnect and honor our ancestors. Hecate, the triple moon goddess who presides over magic and spells will act as a spirit guide for our weekend ceremony.

Following the ancient Mesoamerica tradition - Day of the Dead, we will commemorate those who have passed over by decorating our faces and an “ofrenda” (altar) with photos, offerings, libations, and lively celebrations.

Soulful Slumber Parties are designed to follow the Pagan Wheel of the Year, which celebrates the 8 seasonal passages of the sun. Samhain marks the descent into darkness, preparing us for the returning light after Yule (the winter equinox). We will celebrate the initiation into darkness through a little bit of ritual and a lot of fun.

This is a fully catered experience. Each day you will have seasonal vegetarian and organic (when available) meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Snacks will also be available between designated meal times. Please let us know your dietary needs/restrictions when booking your experience. We will do our best to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, however, in some cases, guests are encouraged to bring their own food.

Are electronics allowed?

For most experiences, you are welcome to bring your phone and/or laptop but we encourage you to ‘unplug’ as much as you can to soak in all the good stuff.

What is the schedule like?

The basic structure of the weekend will include an opening ceremony, introductions, intentions followed by dinner and an Offering or Activity. The first morning, you will enjoy breakfast with choice of morning mediation, yoga, or breathwork. Free time and Offering for the day will be included as well. On the last day, there will be prizes and reflections followed by a closing ceremony and light breakfast.

How do we get to the location? Coordinated rides?

Directions to your experience venue will be provided upon event booking. Most events will be located in surrounding forests, mountains, deserts 1-3 hours away. You are responsible for getting to the location and will be encouraged to carpool whenever possible.

What should I pack?

Depending on the party and weather, you will want to pack the basics for a couple days. You might also want to bring cozy pajamas and socks, a bathing suit, sandals and slippers, a yoga mat, your journal, an object for the altar and any other fun stuff to play with.

Are alcohol, marijuna, cigarettes allowed?

Alcohol is permitted on the basis that it is used moderately and responsibly. We do not promote drunken debauchery. Special cocktails and use of ceremonial alcohol will be used at some events. We provide limited alcohol for specific occasions which will be noted in the description of the experience. Smoking is dependent on the rules of the venue and will be explicitly indicated in your experience details. Many venues are located in heavily forested regions which have strict smoking policies. Are parties co-ed?

Unless otherwise noted, all parties are open to anyone above the age of 21.If you prefer a particular party, we’re happy to design one that meets your criteria.

How should I prepare beforehand?

Depending on the type of party, we suggest giving yourself enough time to reflect on your intention for the gathering. You may also want to give yourself enough time after the weekend to integrate the experience.

Can I bring my emotional support animal?

As much as we LOVE animals, each venue has rules about whether animals are permitted. We can’t guarantee that your companion can come along.

What time do I have to get up?

You’re welcome to rise whenever you like. Coffee and tea will be at your leisure while breakfast will be served at a designated time around 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Morning activities may also be offered which are optional. We will begin our service at 7:30 a.m., take a break during your free time, and go to bed around 10:00 p.m.

What are the sleeping accommodations?

We seek out venues with as much space as possible, and just like childhood slumber parties, you will likely be bunking with someone. We suggest you bring a friend and get cozy. Prices are based on maximum occupancy. If you prefer a bed/room to yourself, there will be a higher rate.
